This adaptation of the popular kids' book series sees the player trapped inside a mysterious building. In order to get out they'll have to collect a series of objects hidden throughout the house. Once they've found all the objects in each room they'll be rewarded with a puzzle piece. Accumulate enough puzzle pieces and the player will get access to the final puzzle. The rhyming riddles are fun for young players and the beautifully detailed rooms of the house provide both visual appeal and plenty of challenge.
Hidden-object games are basically point-and-click games so the control system isn't too difficult and the final puzzle is a refreshing change of pace. There isn't a huge amount of story but the atmosphere is suitably eerie to be appealing without being too frightening for younger players. Fans of the series of the books or of hidden-object puzzle games in general will find a lot to like in this installment of the series.
